Winter Mysteries 1969

This is an experiential religious retreat held from Wednesday December 31st to Friday January 2nd, 1970. Those who wish to do their own spiritual work apart from the Mysteries are also welcome.

The retreat is held at a private wilderness camp with a kitchen, washrooms and heated, eight-bunk cabins. The mysteries take place outdoors in direct contact with the winter.

This year we'll be drawing on Russian folklore for the Mysteries: The Search for the Firebird.

This is a religious retreat. Participants are asked to remember this and to respect the sacred nature of the event and other people's experiences. There will be designated silent times as well as social times.

Current cost is $65 per person for the weekend which includes food and lodging. You will need to bring bedding and warm clothing for a possible variety of weather. Those with special dietary requirements must make arrangements with the organisers at least two weeks before the retreat, or bring their own food. Refrigeration is available.

This is an adult-only retreat. Alcohol and non-medicinal drugs are strictly prohibited at the event.
